Continuous checks with nothing installed on your client's server
Every check runs from our cloud, in an isolated environment that is shut down when it finishes. You install no agent, no plugin, and you keep no server of your own for this to work.
Nothing running on your client's server
You install no agent, plugin or script in the monitored environment. Baristta connects from the outside, with the credentials you register in the panel, and runs the check from our cloud.
That matters as the portfolio grows: every plugin installed on a client site is one more thing to update, one more surface that can break and one more conversation when the client changes hosting. Here there is none of that on their side.
Every check runs in a clean, isolated environment, with no interference from other checks, and communication is authenticated and encrypted end to end. It is the same concept used by CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
Full tracking of every check
Each run reports detailed metrics about its own lifecycle. When a check takes longer than usual, you can see which stage consumed the time — instead of guessing.
How long the environment took to start and become ready to run the scan.
Latency to establish the connection with the remote FTP/SFTP server.
Total time to walk the entire directory structure recursively.
Time to compare the scan result against the expected baseline.
An indicator of how heavy the check was, useful for sizing large structures.
Total files and directories found during the recursive scan.
The check itself is monitored
A check that dies halfway through is worse than no check at all: you go on believing you are covered. That is why Baristta follows the run itself — if it stops reporting activity, whether from a failure, a timeout or any other reason, the system marks the check as failed and opens an incident automatically.
In other words: you are told both when the site changes and when the check could not run. Silence is never read as "everything is fine".
A frequency you define
The interval of each check is configurable in minutes, with 60-second precision. There are shortcuts for the common cases — hourly, daily, weekly, every 15 days and monthly — but you are not locked into them: any interval in minutes works. A campaign site can be checked far more often than an institutional page that never moves, and the decision is made resource by resource.
